Business Development Manager – Construction Staffing

San Antonio, TX

Salary+ Potential (Commission-Driven)

Immediate opportunity to build and grow a book of business in the San Antonio construction market.

Structured Trades is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth with general contractors and subcontractors across the region.

This is a high-energy, field-based sales role focused on building relationships, generating new business, and becoming part of the local construction community.


What This Role Really Is

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk sales job.

  • Early mornings (jobsite check-ins around 7:00 AM)
  • Daily field activity (6–10 jobsite and office visits)
  • Cold calling (in-person and phone)
  • Building and managing your own sales pipeline
  • Attending networking events, cook-offs, golf tournaments, and industry events

If you enjoy being out in the field, meeting people, and creating opportunities — this role is for you.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Generating new business with contractors and construction companies
  • Building long-term client relationships
  • Maintaining and growing a consistent sales funnel
  • Working closely with recruiting and operations teams to fill positions
  • Representing Structured Trades in the local construction community


What We’re Looking For

  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Comfortable working flexible hours (early mornings + occasional evenings)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to be in the field daily
  • Sales experience preferred (construction industry a plus)
  • Competitive mindset with a desire to earn


Compensation

  • Commission-driven with uncapped earning potential
  • Realistic earning potential: $80K–$150K+
