Position Overview

As an Automotive Technician at Grubbs [BRAND], you will:

Diagnose and repair [BRAND] and luxury vehicles using manufacturer procedures and advanced diagnostic tools

Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure new vehicles meet dealership quality standards

Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, and inspections

Maintain vehicle cleanliness and a safe, organized work environment

Provide accurate service recommendations to customers

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest automotive technology

Competitive pay: $20.00 - $55.00 per flat-rate hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Accurately diagnose vehicle issues using experience, tools, and [add BRAND] manufacturer procedures

Perform routine maintenance, service repairs, and inspections

Conduct pre-delivery vehicle inspections to ensure customer-ready quality

Maintain clean and safe workspaces and adhere to shop standards

Complete accurate service documentation and comply with all regulations

Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers

Support overall shop efficiency through inventory, organization, and teamwork

Attend required training and service meetings

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred)

Minimum 1 year of dealership or high-volume shop experience (luxury brand experience preferred)

ASE certification preferred, or willingness to obtain

Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic ability

Valid driver’s license with clean record

Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Professional appearance and strong work ethic

Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in various conditions
