Team: Cross-functional leadership across operations, business operations, people/process, and selected back-office GTM operations

About The Role
AeroCloud is building the category-defining operating system for airports globally.
We are entering the next stage of scale: expanding into larger enterprise customers, and operating in a significantly more complex environment.
We are hiring a high-calibre hands on COO who is first and foremost a scale-stage company builder — someone who has helped transform a high-growth company from founder-led execution into a repeatable, efficient, and enterprise-ready operating machine.
This is not a purely operational role. This is a company-building role.
The COO will be accountable for turning AeroCloud into a business that:
- Scales revenue faster than headcount
- Wins and delivers enterprise customers with confidence
- Executes with speed, clarity, and accountability across functions
- The challenge is not finding problems, its solving them at pace through better execution, stronger accountability to develop a scalable operating rhythm.
Core Characteristics and background
- Proven scale-stage experience: Has operated in a senior role during a transition from early traction to structured scale
- Company builder mindset: Thinks in systems, not tasks; builds for the next stage, not just today
- Leads through managers: Strong track record of building and elevating leadership teams
- Drives efficiency: Demonstrated ability to scale output without linear headcount growth
- Enterprise intuition: Comfortable operating in businesses selling and delivering complex enterprise solutions
- Lead by example showing how AI adoption can increase velocity of scale without adding headcount.
- Hands-on when needed: Will go deep into problems, not operate from a distance
- Early Priorities (First 6–12 Months)
Ownership and impact
- Build and run the operating model
- Diagnose and reduce breakdowns in ownership, accountability, and decision-making
- Establish a strong operating cadence and management discipline
- Improve cross-functional execution where work is currently stalling
- Strengthen the link between operations, analytics, and finance
- Translate priorities into clear actions, owners, and timelines
- Lead and Develop the Leadership Team, clarifying roles and responsibilities
- Coach leaders while making hard calls when needed
- Ensure decisions move quickly across functions into execution
- Improve planning, metrics, analytics, and business operations
- Partner closely with finance to align execution with company priorities
- Introduce structure without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy
- Strengthen coordination required for large deals and complex implementations
- Move AeroCloud from founder-led execution to a structured, repeatable, and scalable operating model.
This role is critical to AeroCloud’s next phase of growth and funding.
AeroCloud has strong visibility into where problems sit. The challenge is not identifying issues — it is solving them at pace and at scale.
