- 5 experience as a HR generalist or HR Manager.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel)
- BS degree in HR Management or related field preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Preferred SPHR or PHR certification
- Direct all phases of the Human Resources function including recruitment, onboarding, performance & talent management, engagement and other related people initiatives or programs.
- Assist in managing Temporary Agencies supplying labor to the plant and hold the Temporary Agencies accountable to Pratt Industries Hiring Criteria.
- Manage new hire feedback and review process.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
- Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, paid leaves
- Investigate employee relations issues, including hotline reports, with focus on timely resolution.
- Maintain and administer any records or personnel files as required by state and federal laws.
- Maintain and analyze metrics related to absenteeism, retention, and other HR KPI’s.
- Assist with processing biweekly payroll.
- Balance multiple commitments in fast paced environment
- Participate in daily/weekly meetings, acting as point of contact and HR Business Partner.
- Travel to locations as needed

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Computer literacy (MS Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations
- Preferred Candidates will have experience with ADP and other HRIS’s.
- Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
- Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
