Position Summary
**Position Summary & Responsibilities:**
This Emerging Aviation Analyst (RA IV) position is located in Topeka, at
the Eisenhower State Office Building, and is within the Division of
Aviation. This position reports directly to the Emerging Aviation
Program Manager and contributes to the divisions objectives through the
management or direction of assigned programs related to Uncrewed
Aircraft Systems (UAS), Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), and other emergent
aviation technologies, including on/off airport development, community
engagement and outreach necessary for the advancement of emergent
aviation technologies.
- Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the
- Works with consultants; academic institutions; industry; local,
and implement on and off airport infrastructure improvements focused
on enabling and enhancing emerging aviation technology readiness.
- Researches potential federal and alternative funding sources to
- Leads, collects, and conducts research, data analysis, and
technology.
- Benchmarks best practices from other industry organizations and
deployment and monitoring.
