Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Los Angeles Area, CA – 100% Onsite

Industry: Apparel / Manufacturing / Distribution

Compensation: $180k- $225k + Bonus

About the Opportunity

Addison Group is partnering with an established, founder-led apparel and distribution organization to identify a Chief Operating Officer (COO). This executive leadership role will partner closely with ownership to drive operational excellence, improve financial performance, and support long-term growth initiatives. The organization is in a rebuilding and growth phase and is seeking a hands-on operational leader with strong financial acumen and experience scaling operations in a fast-paced environment.


Position Overview

The Chief Operating Officer will oversee day-to-day business operations across finance, accounting, supply chain, warehouse, HR, and cross-functional leadership functions. This role will be responsible for operational strategy, organizational scalability, and performance management while partnering directly with ownership to execute long-term business objectives.


Primary Responsibilities

Partner with ownership to define and execute operational and growth strategies

Lead company-wide operational planning, performance management, and KPI development

Oversee daily operations across finance, accounting, supply chain, warehouse, logistics, HR, and administration

Drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration initiatives

Manage P&L performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight

Monitor financial reporting, banking relationships, and compliance requirements

Oversee inventory management, cost controls, and operational reporting processes

Lead and mentor senior leadership teams, including department heads and functional leaders

Support recruiting, employee development, retention, and workforce planning initiatives

Partner with HR on compliance, safety, and organizational development efforts

Oversee ERP system initiatives and operational technology improvements

Manage vendor relationships, insurance renewals, claims, and risk mitigation activities

Support strategic growth initiatives, operational scaling, and organizational transformation efforts

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to improve operational performance and profitability


Qualifications

Proven experience as a COO, VP Operations, or senior operational leader

Strong financial management expertise including P&L ownership, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management

Experience leading cross-functional teams within apparel, manufacturing, or distribution environments

Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically and tactically

Experience with ERP systems required

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led environment


Preferred Qualifications

Experience within high-growth, turnaround, or operational transformation environments

Background supporting supply chain, warehouse, and logistics operations

Track record of process improvement and operational scalability initiatives

Experience working closely with ownership or executive leadership teams
