Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Merrillville, IN, for a Service Manager at Muller Acura of Merrillville. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team effectiveness. Responsibilities include scheduling staff, managing service goals, addressing customer inquiries, and maintaining service standards. Facilitating communication between customers and technicians to ensure timely and high-quality work is a key component of the role. Additional tasks may include overseeing warranty claims, optimizing workflow, and contributing to an exceptional service experience for all clients.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and coach a service team effectively
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to ensure a personalized and satisfactory experience for all clients
- Technical knowledge of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes
- Proficiency in service management software and ability to generate reports to monitor key performance metrics
- Problem-solving and organizational skills to streamline operations and resolve customer concerns promptly
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
