Digital Project Manager

We’re supporting a major UK infrastructure organisation as they build out a new, high-impact digital transformation capability. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and help shape both the function and the delivery of a large-scale transformation programme.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end digital project delivery – from concept and design through to build and implementation. Operating across both corporate and operational environments, you’ll work on complex, real-world initiatives that directly impact how the organisation functions day-to-day.

This role is about true delivery leadership, not coordination. You’ll be accountable for outcomes, driving projects forward in Agile environments while managing senior stakeholders and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead full lifecycle digital projects from inception through to delivery
• Drive outcomes across multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality
• Operate across business and operational teams (including engineering environments)
• Manage internal stakeholders and external consultancy partners
• Support shaping of digital strategy and business cases
• Ensure governance, compliance, and alignment with wider transformation objectives

What They’re Looking For

• Proven experience owning and delivering end-to-end digital projects
• Strong track record of driving delivery (not just reporting or coordination)
• Experience working in complex, regulated, or operational environments
• Comfortable operating across both business and technology domains
• Experience working with consultancies, System integrators, or in large corporate environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills across senior audiences
• Agile delivery experience applied beyond pure software environments

• Large corporates (banking, telecoms, pharma, FMCG)
• Consulting / systems integrators (Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, EY, Capgemini, IBM etc.)
• Infrastructure or engineering-led environments
• Experience with digitisation of operational environments
