Trainee - IT Services | 18‑Month Rotational Program | Germany (HQ) → Portugal (Target Placement)

Role Description

We are looking for a high-potential IT Trainee to join a structured 18-month rotational program within the CIO Office.

This program is designed to develop future IT professionals with exposure to:

• Agile delivery environments
• International stakeholder collaboration
• IT governance and process excellence

You will work directly within key IT functions, contribute to real deliverables, and gain visibility with senior leadership.

The intended next step after successful completion is a role within IT Services in Albergaria-a-Velha, Portugal, depending on performance and business needs.

The Program Consists Of Three Rotations (6 Months Each)

• Digital Commerce (Agile & Delivery)
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners
• Support Agile ceremonies and team coordination
• Contribute to delivery transparency and alignment
• CRM (Business Partnering & Adoption)
• Work with international sales organizations
• Support stakeholder communication and rollout activities
• Help drive user adoption and onboarding
• Infrastructure (Governance & Compliance)
• Contribute to IT process reliability and documentation
• Support compliance and security-related initiatives
• Gain understanding of governance and risk management

Your Profile

Must-have

• Master’s degree in: Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or similar
• Fluent English
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Structured, proactive, and curious mindset
• Willingness to relocate to Germany for 18 months

Nice-to-have

• First experience (internship/working student) in: IT, software development, digital projects, or analytics
• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare structured documentation, summaries, and follow-ups
