About the role

We are supporting a well established Swiss IT services business that is investing heavily in its Digital Workplace function.

The Digital Workplace team is growing due to sustained project demand and customer pipeline, and they are now looking to appoint an additional System Engineer with strong Citrix expertise.

This is a growth hire within a team that already includes senior and principal level engineers, offering strong technical depth and internal support.

What you will be doing

• Engineering and optimising Citrix based virtual workplace environments

• Supporting and evolving modern workplace infrastructures across customer environments

• Working across technologies such as CVAD, XenApp, XenDesktop and related Citrix platforms

• Contributing to ongoing digital workplace projects within an active delivery pipeline

• Collaborating closely with senior engineers and stakeholders in a hybrid team model

What they are looking for

• Strong hands on experience with Citrix technologies, ideally CVAD, XenApp or XenDesktop

• Experience within Digital Workplace, System Engineering or Virtualisation environments

• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Windows 365 or Azure Virtual Desktop is beneficial

• PowerShell knowledge is advantageous

• Comfortable working in a project driven, consulting style environment

• Able to work hybrid with one fixed team day per week in Baden

• Fluent/Native German language proficiency

Experience level

Mid to senior profiles will be considered. Typically this means around 5 plus years for strong mid level engineers, and 8 to 10 plus years for more senior candidates. Strong technical depth in Citrix is more important than title.
