Your Opportunity: Account Manager
We're seeking a high-energy, strategic Account Manager in the Charlotte, NC market to lead dealer growth efforts. This is a 100% field-based role with significant travel, cultivating strong dealer relationships while driving growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Relationship Management & Growth
- Manage and optimize credit lines, helping dealers maximize their financing potential while mitigating risk.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with dealer partners through regular, in-person and virtual engagement.
- Drive portfolio growth by identifying, acquiring, and onboarding high-potential dealers.
- Resolve dealer concerns efficiently and professionally to maintain satisfaction and retention.
- Educate dealers on best practices and performance behaviors that align with company expectations.
- Use data and regional performance metrics to set strategic goals and prioritize opportunities.
- Collaborate with your team to execute plans that deliver measurable business results.
- Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Recovery, and other departments to ensure consistent support and operational success.
- Maintain deep market knowledge to stay ahead of trends and identify ways to strengthen our competitive advantage.
- Represent Floorplan Xpress at industry events, auctions, and networking functions with professionalism and purpose.
- High school diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience in the automotive and/or finance industries
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Financial literacy and comfort with credit tools and performance data
- Self-motivated, results-driven approach to leadership and execution
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight travel
