Office & Operations Manager
Indexed description
We’re the team behind SCRL, a design tool for social media used by millions of people around the world.
While our product is what users see, a lot of what makes us successful happens behind the scenes. We care deeply about operational excellence, clarity, and creating a smooth, supportive environment where the team can focus on doing their best work.
The role
We’re looking for an Office & Operations Manager to take end-to-end ownership of our office, day-to-day operations, and internal processes. This role exists to remove friction for both leadership and the team, ensuring that everything that should “just work” does. You’ll own the office environment, vendor relationships, and all practical details that keep the company running efficiently and smoothly.
What you’ll own
Office environment
You ensure that the physical environment is always functional, ready, and pleasant to work in.
- Order and set up equipment
- Manage office supplies, snacks & food, furniture, decorations, and storage
- Maintain a clean, functional, and welcoming office environment
Vendor relationships
You own our relationships with external providers and ensure they deliver.
- Manage relationships with cleaners, plant services, maintenance, deliveries, etc.
- Follow up until issues are fully resolved
- Improve processes for working with vendors
Operational flow
You own the practical execution that keeps day-to-day operations from becoming distractions.
- Handle purchases, returns, warranties, and receipts
- Track operational details and loose ends
- Spot and fix small problems before they escalate
Events & culture
You take end-to-end ownership of the logistics behind our shared activities and culture-building initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate company dinners and team events
- Organize merch and internal culture initiatives
What we’re looking for
This role requires an exceptionally high quality bar. That means:
- You are observant and proactive, meaning you notice and fix things before others experience them as problems
- You don’t leave loose ends, broken processes, or “someone should probably…” behind
- You care about how things feel, not just whether they technically work
- You communicate clearly and professionally in English (written and spoken)
Experience in office management, operations, hospitality, or similar roles is a plus, but taste, judgment, and ownership matter more than background.
