Accounting Analyst | Land Development

Top US homebuilder is seeking an Accounting Analyst who will serve as business partner to the regional finance and land development teams:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
• Coordinate and develop financial reports - including variance analysis and leadership narratives on budget vs. actual spend
• Advise Division Management on key performance metrics
• Review lending agreements and related financial covenants
• Participate in weekly financial review huddles and monthly Land Development meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or MAcc (non-negotiable)
• 2+ years of related work experience (ideally mix of full-cycle accounting operations and financial modeling/analysis)
• Demonstrated skill in forecasting and budget analysis
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, organization, presentation, analytical and leadership skills
• Real estate development or construction experience is desirable
