Technical Lead

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of the company's digital payment gateway, including merchant payment API, transaction routing, and settlement systems.

2. Manage the technical integration with licensed Payment Service Providers (PSPs) for blockchain-based settlement, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.

3. Architect and maintain the system infrastructure for digital asset payment processing, including wallet integration, on-chain transaction monitoring, and reconciliation.

4. Build and manage the Hong Kong-based engineering team, including recruitment, technical mentoring, and performance evaluation.

5. Define the technical roadmap for the digital payment product line, aligning with the company's overall business strategy and regulatory requirements.

6. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure all technical solutions meet AML/KYC requirements and relevant licensing standards in Hong Kong.

7. Oversee merchant onboarding from a technical perspective, including API integration support, testing, and go-live coordination.

8. Evaluate and recommend emerging blockchain technologies, digital currency protocols, and payment infrastructure to enhance product capabilities.

9. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, business development) to deliver end-to-end payment solutions for merchants.

10. Report to senior management on project progress, technical risks, and resource requirements on a regular basis.
