Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Yeouido, Seoul

Job Type: Regular position


Overview: Aramco Asia Korea is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage key accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations and support the company’s overall financial reporting and planning processes.


Key Responsibilities:

Accounting

  • Perform wide range of accounting tasks under little supervision, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, general ledger, etc.
  • Reconciliation, cost allocation and intercompany billing

Reporting

  • Assist monthly closing, financial reporting, and planning and budgeting
  • Prepare financial analysis and rolling forecast, cash forecast, investment plan, etc.

TAX

  • VAT invoice verification in tax system and VAT filing preparation supported by outsourcing company
  • Assist corporate income tax filing supported by tax advisor

Others

  • Work with Regional Treasury Center to proceed payment and statutory reporting required according to FX regulations
  • Respond to external auditors, tax advisors, other stakeholders, etc. under general instructions
  • Other ad-hoc requests


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, Finance or related field


Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of K-IFRS/IFRS accounting standards
  • Good understanding of Tax and FX regulations
  • Proficiency in SAP S4/HANA and Concur systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in finance and accounting field, preferably in multinational companies
  • Experience in handling AR, AP and GL accounting processes
  • Experience in account reconciliation and monthly closing activities
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and performing financial analysis
  • Experience in working with internal stakeholders and external auditors
  • Experience in BPC and budgeting process and handling payment, VAT and WHT is a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
