Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Prospect new customers and generate business opportunities
- Increase Meridian Title’s market share within assigned accounts
- Maintain consistent prospecting and follow-up to build a strong, active pipeline
- Consistently meet or exceed individual performance metrics
- Execute Meridian Title’s sales activity benchmarks consistently
- Build strong, loyal customer and internal relationships through attentiveness, expertise, empathy, resourcefulness, and value
- Retain at-risk relationships through timely intervention and effective objection handling
- Maintain a baseline monthly performance standard of 20 closed (paid) orders and $30,000 in revenue; overall sales goals are established annually and may be adjusted based on market conditions and business needs
- Submit accurate and complete title orders in a timely manner, following Meridian’s established workflows and processes
- Partner with operations, processing, and closing teams to ensure seamless transactions from open to close
- Maintain visibility into file progress and proactively communicate with customers to enhance the closing experience
- Deliver presentations, training sessions, and educational content to customers and partners on industry updates, regulatory changes, and Meridian’s products, services, and processes
- Represent Meridian Title through community involvement, industry events, and strategic networking opportunities
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory updates, and industry developments impacting customers and transactions

- Some college or associate’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance in good standing
- Active state notary and title insurance license (as required by state and/or willingness to obtain)
- Experience delivering presentations and public speaking preferred
- Strong local market knowledge
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with direct client interaction; preferred candidates have experience in the real estate industry (title and escrow, mortgage, builder/developer sales, property and casualty insurance, or home warranty)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding and use of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
