We are looking for a talent who is suitable for the position of Regional Accountant (Singapore) to join Stavian to #GOGLOBAL with the following criteria & work:
The incumbent shall be part of the Accounting and Finance team responsible for the following:
- Assist in the review and finalization of full set of management accounts (including Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Ledger, Accounts Reconciliations);
- Involved in posting of entries and reconciliations for accounts, e.g. GST and inter-co billings, etc.;
- Assist in the review and finalization of accounting schedules for sales, purchases, inventory, debtors, creditors, expenses, etc. on an accurate and timely basis;
- Check and ensure that the supporting and accounting documentations are properly, adequately and consistently maintained;
- Assist in the preparation of financial reporting and financial analysis to support business decision-making;
- Liaise with Singapore and regional stakeholders, accounting vendors and consultants, overseas team members and any other third party, as required;
- Assist in regional audit requirements, including overseas stock take, reconciliations and confirmations;
- Provide guidance to junior staffs as and when required;
- To undertake ad-hoc and project duties as assigned, e.g. filling up of statutory or banking forms, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy
- Must have full set Accounts or Audit experience
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant work experience
- Organized with good communication skills
- Hands-on, meticulous and proactive
- Positive working attitude with strong sense of responsibility
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Minimal travelling is required
- Knowledge of MYOB multi-user accounting software is an advantage
