Job Role:-Oracle Database Administrator


Job Location :- Singapore


Experience:- 5+ Years


Roles & Responsibilities:-


  • Design, develop, maintain, and support Oracle database environments across production, testing, and staging systems.
  • Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and security to ensure stable operations.
  • Perform database administration activities including backup, recovery, patching, migration, and performance tuning.
  • Manage Oracle RAC/ASM environments and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Execute and maintain database backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, Data Guard, and related tools.
  • Support data migration, schema management, partitioning, and database optimization activities.
  • Identify and resolve database bottlenecks, deadlocks, and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams for deployment, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and governance standards.
  • Ensure adherence to operational SLAs, security standards, and data integrity requirements.


Skills & Requirements:-


  • Experience in Oracle Database Administration in enterprise or production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, Data Pump, and GoldenGate.
  • Hands-on experience in database performance tuning, backup & recovery, capacity planning, and storage management.
  • Understanding of database design concepts including modelling and normalization.
  • Experience working on Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and database security best practices.
  • Familiarity with database partitioning, clustering technologies, and architecture design principles.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Oracle certification is an added advantage.
