Position Overview

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and operational analysis. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams including distribution, production, manufacturing, and sales to provide insights that drive performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, inventory valuation, accruals, variance analysis, and reconciliation support
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, highlighting key trends, profitability, and performance drivers
• Conduct operational and business analysis to support shipping operations and improve visibility
• Analyze gross margin, pricing, and product profitability across categories and channels
• Support inventory analysis, including turnover, aging, and reserve recommendations
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain financial reporting tools and systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in apparel, retail, or consumer goods
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Experience supporting month-end close and working with large datasets
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
• Experience with SQL and/or BI tools is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
