Our company is active globally and supplies a central part of the plant: the furnace, galvanizing furnace, annealing furnace, stainless steel furnace and more recently electric steel furnace.
Since 2006, we are part of SMS group GmbH.
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you plan, organize, control, and manage all company activities on a construction site to ensure efficient execution of mechanical works in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
Position of the Function
- You directly manage any personnel sent to the construction site by the company.
- You indirectly manage the company's subcontractors involved in mechanical operations.
- You report to the Site Director for all aspects related to the organization of the construction site.
- You also report to the Project Manager for contractual, technical, and commercial follow-up related to mechanical activities.
YOU ACT
- Supervises mechanical assembly (including structural work, casing, piping, insulation, and mechanical components) in accordance with rules and specifications.
- Ensures the commissioning of the installation (including testing the tightness of networks (fluids), furnace tightness, and performance tests).
- Collects all contractual information concerning the activities to be carried out on site and distributes it to supervisors and companies working on site.
- Develops and maintains a detailed implementation schedule.
- Plans and coordinates the work of supervisors and companies working on site.
- Coordinates activities with partners and the customer.
- Prepares and attends site meetings.
- Receives equipment deliveries on site and ensures they are handled and stored in good condition.
- Verifies compliance with rules of good conduct by supervisors and external companies under the company's responsibility.
- Where applicable, manages the site cash account
- Reports, verifies, negotiates, and controls site supplements.
- Regularly reports on the progress of the site and any problems encountered.
- Writes non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Prepares the end-of-site report with a list of technical points to be taken into account for the completion of as-built documents and future contracts
- Finds out about the safety rules applicable on site and forwards the requested documents
- In order to prevent incidents and accidents, ensures safety, health, and compliance with safety rules on site by informing Drever employees and external companies working under the company's responsibility.
- Reports any breaches of safety rules to the project manager and his/her line manager by drawing up a report.
Minimum Experience Required: 5 years of construction site
Minimum knowledge : English (spoken, written) – Reading plans (2D, 3D)
IT: Excel, Word, planning tools, Internet.
