Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive domestic and international sales growth for our chemicals and solvents business. The role involves developing new customers, expanding export markets, strengthening supplier and client relationships, and contributing to the company’s overall business expansion strategy.
The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales within the chemicals/solvents industry, along with exposure to export sales development and international business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Develop and expand export sales by identifying overseas customers, distributors, and trading partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manufacturers, suppliers, and channel partners.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, trade portals, exhibitions, and direct outreach.
- Handle sales inquiries, price negotiations, quotations, and order closures.
- Promote and market industrial chemicals and solvents across multiple industries and geographies.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, shipping, and documentation teams for smooth execution of domestic and export orders.
- Manage and support export documentation processes, shipment coordination, and customer communication.
- Monitor international market trends, pricing movements, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market expansion strategies.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and international business meetings when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, International Business, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in business development or sales within chemicals and solvents trading.
- Experience in export sales development and international customer handling is preferred.
- Strong understanding of industrial chemicals, solvents, applications, and global market dynamics.
- Knowledge of export/import procedures, international trade terms, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business communication.
