About The Job

The primary role of the Corporate Support position is to serve our external customers, vendors and employees for success by attending to visitors and directing inquiries, both on the phone and face to face. This position is the face and voice of our organization for customers calling in or stopping by. Added support activities include but are not limited to data entry tasks, assisting with invoicing activities and scanning of documents into a secure electronic filing system.

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for this position is to answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls
  • Take and relay messages to the appropriate recipient
  • Provide information to callers as pertains to the job
  • Greet people entering the organization
  • Direct persons to the correct destination(s)
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization
  • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to assigned divisions
  • Enter purchase orders and/or assist with data entry support for assigned divisions
  • Prepare correspondence and documents for assigned divisions
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries at the direction of the AR/AP Manager
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean and organized
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing additional assignments as needed including keeping the reception area clean and well organized
  • Maintains clean, safe working environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Education in an agricultural related field is preferred
  • Must be able to compute basic math
  • Professional telephone skills and the ability to work a switchboard
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
  • A willingness to learn
  • Prior experience with the ERP, SAP, is preferred
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated success with administrative and clerical procedures
  • Strong level of professionalism
  • Must be willing to work Saturdays, approximately one per month from 8:00AM – 12:00PM
  • Excellent critical thinking, verbal and written communication skills
  • Resourceful and innovative in finding solutions to problems
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business surroundings
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with a demonstrated history of success
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
