Reports to: Quality Manager

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all products shipped to customers meet established quality standards. This role performs incoming and outgoing product inspections, audits, and supports resolution of supplier quality issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with measurement tools, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Audit and verify customer orders for accuracy prior to shipment
  • Complete customer paperwork for order inspection and take required photos
  • Inspect incoming product using measurement tools as required
  • Document inspection finding, including quantities and types of defects identified
  • Support receiving inspection as needed
  • Coordinates resolution to supplier quality issues
  • Perform pick ticket audits
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Receive and adjust material in ANITA as required
  • Interpret and understand technical drawings to verify product dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse, quality control, and sales teams to report issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
  • Other duties as assigned by management

  • Zero defects shipped to customers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across teams
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficient in using measuring tools and gauges
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of product inspection experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
  • 3+ years performing quality related functions

Required Physical Abilities:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
