Structured Trades is growing and looking to add an Account Manager to our team in Austin.

This role is a combination of client relationship management, operations, and field support, with a clear path into outside sales and business development for the right person.

You’ll start by working with existing accounts to learn the industry, manage active projects, and build relationships — with the opportunity to grow into a more sales-focused role as you prove yourself.


What You’ll Be Doing

This is not a desk-only position. You’ll be in the field, working directly with clients and employees.

  • Manage and support assigned client accounts
  • Coordinate and manage active job orders
  • Conduct jobsite visits (6–10 per day)
  • Check in employees and ensure successful starts
  • Communicate with clients on staffing needs, updates, and issues
  • Resolve employee and client concerns quickly and professionally
  • Track jobsite activity, employee status, and order details
  • Build relationships with superintendents, project managers, and field teams
  • Assist with account growth and outside sales efforts
  • Attend networking events (golf tournaments, cook-offs, industry events, etc.)


What This Role Requires

This is not a typical 8–5 role.

  • Construction starts early — expect 7:00 AM jobsite check-ins
  • Flexible schedule with occasional evenings for events
  • Ability to stay organized and handle multiple priorities at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment


What We’re Looking For
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Interested in growing into a sales / business development role
  • Comfortable being in the field and interacting with clients daily
  • Construction or staffing experience is a plus, but not required


Compensation
  • Base Salary: $50K–$65K (depending on experience)
