About the Company



We are seeking a driven and motivated Account Manager to support business development and client growth within the low voltage, security, and technology solutions space. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in sales, account management, or business development within an integrator, distributor, or manufacturer environment.



About the Role



This position offers a strong foundation with a base salary and structured transition into a performance-driven commission plan, creating long-term earning potential for high-performing individuals.



Responsibilities



  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Conduct cold outreach, networking, and in-person meetings to drive sales growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and client interactions
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience in sales or account management
  • Background in low voltage, security systems, or technology-related industries preferred


Required Skills



  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with cold calling and business development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close business

Pay range and compensation package



Compensation: ($75,000 – $100,000 Base Salary)+ Commission Structure



This role offers a graduated compensation model designed to provide stability early on while transitioning into a performance-based earning structure:



  • Initial Phase: Higher base salary with focus on ramp-up and business development
  • Transition Phase: Base salary adjusts as commission eligibility begins
  • Long-Term Phase: Lower base salary paired with a full commission structure and higher earning potential
