Maritime Solutions Integrated Engineering (AIMS
IE) organization, the Machinery Controls &
Automation Products department provides the
control system capabilities that enable safe,
reliable, and efficient shipboard operations
across multiple platforms and customers. Our

What We’re Doing
Within the Autonomy Intelligence Maritime
Solutions Integrated Engineering (AIMS IE)
organization, the Controls & Automation
Products department provides essential control system capabilities that enable shipboard
operations across a variety of platforms and
customers.
The Work
The Hardware Engineer will be supporting all
of the Machinery Controls and Automation
programs within RMS.
This position will be responsible for coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of the customer including system troubleshooting both in the Controls lab and on ship, artifact development, hardware design, and more.
Please Note
Occasional travel to shipyard(s) may be required.
This position requires the ability obtain and
maintain a DoD government clearance at the
Secret level.

Desired Skills
- Experience with PLCs (i.e. Ladder Logic in general, Rockwell, Wago, Siemens)
- Knowledge of protocols and related devices (i.e. PFB, Serial, MBS, Ethernet, RTD)
- Strong analytical, communication, and
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Knowledge of Navy systems, DoD
- Experience developing test reports (i.e. Shock, Vibe, EMI, Airborne Noise)
Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
