Project Designer

VISSI Architecture + Design is seeking a talented and motivated Project Designer to join our growing team in Marlton, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a design professional with 3–5 years of experience who is ready to expand beyond production work and grow into project leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with design and technical packages from schematic design through construction documents.
• Coordinate engineering consultants with oversight from the Project Manager.
• Organize internal team tasks and deliverables to support project schedules and deadlines.
• Identify code, coordination, and constructability issues early in the design process.
• Assist in maintaining project quality standards and firm documentation standards.
• Contribute to collaborative problem-solving and team communication throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in architecture.
• Bachelor of Architecture degree required.
• Strong design sensibility paired with technical execution skills.
• Experience preparing construction documents and coordinating consultant information.
• Working knowledge of building codes and permitting processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in BIM software required; ArchiCAD experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a desire to grow into project leadership.
