Your Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 9 accountants, ensure the personal skill development & regular performance review for the team.
- Oversee resp. being part of preparation of statutory financial statements for inclusion in timely filings with regulatory agencies.
- Ensure transparency in financial reporting incl. coordinating & reviewing internal controls for all accounting fields.
- Lead focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of monthly accounting activities for three Swiss entities, incl. coordination of ad hoc work assignments. It includes local unit as well as headquarter accounting topics.
- Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements, provides accounting guidance for Switzerland and input to the Global R2R lead.
- Act as lead for the accounting workstream during the S4 Hana implementation project. Drive the change management and seek for best practice implementation.
- Effectively communicate & closely collaborate with various stakeholders like auditors, management, and local / global finance teams.
- Drive the implementation of best practice and continuous optimization of relevant processes and cross-finance function topics.
- University degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
- More than 10 years of professional experience in Financial Accounting function of a global company in combination with a team lead role.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Standards (USGAAP / Swiss GAAP FER) and in the field of General Accounting. Management Accounting know-how is a plus.
- Good SAP R3, S4 Hana, Teams, Outlook and Microsoft Excel / Power Point know-how.
- Experienced in software implementation projects.
- Fully committed to deadlines.

- Strong financial and analytical skills, with drive to optimize existing structures & processes.
- Ability to navigate complex financial topics and translate results into recommendations for senior leadership.
