Virtual Assistant (Construction Operations Support)

Location: Remote

GO Contracting is a Texas-based, family-owned construction company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We specialize in commercial interior construction, including metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and paint. Our projects include tenant improvements, retail spaces, offices, churches, and warehouse facilities.

Our team values clear communication, accountability, and organized project execution.

The Virtual Assistant provides administrative and operational support to help keep projects organized and reduce administrative workload for the owner and Project Manager. This role assists with lead intake, scheduling, project documentation, and billing coordination to keep projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Phone & Lead Intake

  • Answer company calls and capture lead details
  • Qualify basic project information
  • Schedule estimates when appropriate
  • Route urgent calls to the Project Manager

Calendar Management

  • Manage calendars for the Owner and Project Manager
  • Schedule estimates and meetings
  • Confirm appointments and send reminders

Lead Qualification

  • Review leads from phone, email, website, and referrals
  • Filter leads based on project type, size, timeline, and location
  • Schedule estimates only for qualified leads

Project Support

  • Review JobTread updates and ensure logs, notes, and photos are submitted
  • Follow up when updates are missing
  • Help track project schedules and task reminders

Billing & Time Tracking

  • Review crew hours and compare with JobTread logs
  • Process approved timesheets
  • Create draft invoices in QuickBooks Online

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience as a Virtual Assistant or administrative support role
  • Required: Spanish and English fluency
  • Professional phone communication skills
  • Experience with JobTread, QuickBooks Online, and Google Workspace preferred
  • Calendar and scheduling experience
  • Familiarity with CRM or project management systems
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred But Not Required

  • Construction industry experience
  • Ability to read basic construction plans

Pay & Work Structure

  • Remote position
  • Pay: $7 to $9 per hour
  • Part-time to start with potential for increased hours
