Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Consulting team in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing complex projects across global, distributed teams and will be proficient in both Korean and English at a business/advanced level. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, execution excellence, and stakeholder management in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches
• Develop and maintain project tracking and reporting mechanisms such as:
• Gantt charts
• Kanban boards
• Dashboards and status reports
• Drive strategic planning and execution to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business, technical, and client teams
• Coordinate with distributed teams across different geographies and time zones
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Ensure clear communication and alignment across all project stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement in project delivery processes and governance

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management roles
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project methodologies
• Experience in project tracking, reporting, and delivery governance
• Advanced business-level proficiency in Korean and English
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with distributed/global teams across time zones

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Prior experience working in pharmaceutical industry projects or with pharma clients
• Experience in consulting or client-facing project delivery environments
