Job Overview
Join us as an Accounting Administrator based out of our Hamilton office, where you will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial duties. If you are team oriented, motivated, understand the need for accuracy and enjoy busy days, then this job is for you!
Duties And Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices
- Record payments received
- Entry of financial transactions, journal entries and adjustments
- Preparation of monthly financial statements
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with all levels of the organization
- Accuracy and attention to detail, aptitude for numbers
- Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software
- Post-Secondary education in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred. Relevant and related experience will also be considered
- Minimum 1 year experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
