Job Duties
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, all types of business entities, gift & estate tax filings, and non-profit organizations.
- Prepare multi-state tax returns for both businesses and individuals.
- Handle international tax compliance matters.
- Conduct financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Perform audits of 401(k) plans and other pension plans.
- Represent clients in audits with the IRS and state tax authorities.
- Manage sales tax and payroll tax compliance.
- Provide comprehensive accounting services to clients.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a U.S. public accounting firm, with exposure to diverse audits, tax, and accounting functions.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the State of New Jersey.
- Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
