Accounts Payable Specialist (Intern)

The Accounting/Finance Intern is a student enrolled in a four-year degree program at a college or University who assists in the day-to-day accounting processes and responsibilities within the Finance Department. Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the Intern is responsible for a variety of functions pertaining to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial support functions. The ability to take direction, as needed, from supervisors is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly Accounts Payable processing
• Print and match monthly custom invoices
• Prepare basic Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Shadow members of the accounting team as they perform their duties
• Perform general clerical duties to assist accounting teams such as filing, scanning and data entry
• Other duties as assigned
