Director of Information Technology - Hybrid (3 Days in Office)

The Company is seeking a hands-on, business-minded Director of IT to continue to modernize the technology ecosystem while serving as a strategic partner across the business. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to shape the future IT roadmap of a growing company.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an ambitious technology leader who thrives in lean, fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution. The Director of IT will lead systems integration efforts, drive modernization initiatives, improve data accessibility, and align technology with business objectives across operations, commercial teams, R&D, and corporate functions. The environment is highly collaborative and relationship-driven, requiring someone who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while acting as the organization’s trusted technology SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-wide systems architecture and integration initiatives, including ERP modernization efforts
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align technology strategy with business growth objectives
• Oversee and optimize the Microsoft Fabric environment to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting capabilities
• Support ongoing AI and automation initiatives, including customized AI agents and workflow automation solutions
• Manage and evolve core business platforms including: Microsoft Azure, O365, Salesforce, Microsoft NAV / future Dynamics migration
• Lead day-to-day IT operations, systems maintenance, architecture, and vendor coordination
• Collaborate with third-party consultants and technology partners on systems integration and infrastructure projects
• Translate complex technical concepts into practical business solutions for non-technical stakeholders
• Build scalable processes and help modernize the company’s overall IT backbone

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading IT strategy across Azure Cloud, ERP, CRM, Data, Network and User Support and Cyber Security.
• Strong background in ERP implementations, modernization projects, and enterprise integrations
• Experience working across Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Fabric, Microsoft Dynamics/ Nav, with experience integrating/ EDI with 3rd party partners
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a lean organization
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technology concepts for business stakeholders
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, commercial teams, and R&D
• Demonstrated urgency, ownership mentality, and problem-solving capabilities
• Manufacturing, food, product development, or supply chain experience is helpful but not required
• Experience with AI initiatives, automation, or data-driven transformation efforts is highly desirable
