Role Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Marketing Specialist to join our marketing department. This role is essential in managing the continuous development and enhancement of our website and social media presence, ensuring that our technical and creative marketing efforts align with the company’s holistic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen, marketing expertise, and a strong understanding of content creation, distribution, and marketing analytics to drive effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management:
· Collaborate with external vendors to develop and maintain the company website, ensuring it reflects the brand and meets user experience standards.
· Manage the integration of creative and technical inputs into the CMS, optimizing content for SEO and engagement.
SEO and Content Optimization:
· Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility and drive traffic to the website.
· Conduct keyword research and analysis to inform content strategy and align with market trends.
Social Media Strategy:
· Work closely with marketing colleagues to create and execute a cohesive social media strategy that complements the website and overall marketing initiatives.
· Manage social media accounts, producing engaging content that promotes brand awareness, drives traffic, and encourages audience interaction.
· Monitor social media trends and analytics to refine approaches and enhance engagement.
Integrated Marketing Campaigns:
· Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including direct mail, trade shows, and educational content distribution.
· Ensure consistency across all channels and align initiatives with the overall marketing communication strategy.
Marketing Analytics:
· Focus on monitoring and analyzing website and social media performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
· Generate comprehensive reports on website traffic, user behavior, social media engagement, and conversion rates to inform marketing strategies.
Collaboration and Coordination:
· Work closely with creative team members to ensure that all content is aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
· Facilitate communication between technical and marketing teams to achieve seamless execution of projects.
Content Strategy and Development:
· Assist in creating engaging, informative content for both the website and social media platforms that resonates with target audiences and supports marketing goals.
· Ensure all content distribution methods are optimized for maximum reach and effectiveness.
Technical Support:
· Provide technical support and guidance for website and social media-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and optimal functionality.
· Stay informed about the latest trends in web development, SEO, and digital marketing for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
· Minimum of [5] years of experience in technical marketing, web development, or a similar role within a marketing team.
· Strong knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
· Proven experience with SEO best practices and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
· Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for content engagement and distribution.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical colleagues.
· Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, capable of translating insights into effective marketing strategies.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Experience in Graphic design is a big plus.
