About The Role

BYD Milan Design Studio recruits Junior/Senior/Chief Digital Designers. The position undertakes automotive exterior & interior digital expression, high-precision CAS modeling, rendering, animation & AI-assisted design, supporting concept exploration and mass-production scheme delivery.

General Requirements (All Levels)

• Fluent English in speaking & writing.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant design majors.
• Qualified automotive digital design portfolio required.
• Good aesthetic taste and communication skills.
• Highly adaptable to new software, workflows and technologies.

Junior

• Assist styling designers with digital sketch, modeling and rendering presentation.
• Master polygon & NURBS modeling, quick adaptation to AI design tools.
• Finish basic digital tasks under guidance and comply with data specifications.

• Independently deliver qualified CAS data for concept and mass-production projects.
• Skilled in parametric design, rendering animation, video editing and AI creation.
• Cooperate with styling & engineering teams, guide junior members and support design reviews.

• Manage digital team and formulate unified digital design standards.
• Lead application iteration of new digital tools and AI design workflows.
• Coordinate global cross-department teams and optimize overall digital design efficiency.
