Lela Rose is seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing to lead and evolve the brand’s marketing vision across its growing lifestyle portfolio. Reporting directly to the President and working closely with the Founder, this role will oversee all marketing communications and brand initiatives across Ready-to-Wear, Bridal and Ranch divisions, ensuring a cohesive yet nuanced brand presence across every touchpoint.


The ideal candidate is someone who can translate creative direction into thoughtful, result-driven marketing strategies while leading teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners with clarity and momentum. You understand how to shape and amplify a luxury lifestyle brand through compelling storytelling, culturally relevant activations, and integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen both brand equity and business growth.

You are energized by building processes, identifying new opportunities, and thinking differently about how a modern fashion and lifestyle brand connects with its audience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and oversee all marketing functions across the Lela Rose lifestyle, including Ready-to-Wear, Bridal and Ranch product lines, ensuring each division is supported with distinct yet cohesive brand storytelling and business strategy.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand equity, drive customer acquisition and retention, and support growth across wholesale, direct-to-consumer, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Direct all brand communications across digital, social, email, press, events, partnerships, paid media, and organic content, ensuring consistency in voice, visual identity, and storytelling across every customer touchpoint.
  • Own the annual marketing calendar and oversee campaign planning and execution for all key launches, seasonal initiatives, retail activations, fashion moments, collaborations, and brand events.
  • Lead the concepting and rollout of integrated campaigns, including press strategy, social content, photoshoots, asset development, influencer and celebrity seeding, gifting initiatives, and partnership activations.
  • Manage and mentor a small internal marketing team while overseeing and coordinating external agency partners spanning digital marketing, press, and celebrity relations.
  • Serve as the cross-functional marketing lead, partnering closely with the Founder, Design, Sales, E-commerce, Retail, and Production teams to ensure alignment between brand vision, product storytelling, and business objectives.
  • Oversee social media strategy and content planning across divisions, ensuring storytelling is both emotionally resonant and commercially effective.
  • Lead email marketing strategy and execution across all business verticals, creating thoughtful customer journeys that support engagement, conversion, and long-term brand loyalty.
  • Evaluate and optimize marketing performance across channels, establishing clear KPIs, reporting structures, and ROI analysis to inform both short- and long-term decision-making.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, partnerships, and innovative marketing channels that expand brand visibility, cultural relevance, and customer reach.
  • Build strong operational processes and communication systems across internal teams and external partners to ensure efficiency, accountability, and excellence in execution.
  • Foster a highly collaborative, energized, and creative marketing culture that inspires teams, drives momentum, and keeps the organization connected to ongoing brand initiatives and activations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of relevant experience required (luxury retail fashion and agency experience highly preferred)
  • Excellent Organizational and Follow up and time management skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Budget management
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Independent contributor, ability to be self-starter and team player.
