About the Role

We are currently looking for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager to join our Sales team to support and accelerate our growth ambitions in the renewable energy sector. This hybrid role will combine account management and new business development responsibilities, focusing on the Australian C&I Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) market.

Experience in BESS, solar, renewable energy, utilities, EPC, or channel development is highly preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Drive 0-to-1 market penetration for C&I BESS solutions in Australia, with clear ownership of revenue and order intake.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in greenfield markets (C&I, developers, EPCs, utilities).
  • Build and directly manage key customer relationships, acting as the primary commercial interface.
  • Develop and activate local channels (EPCs, installers, partners) to accelerate deal conversion.
  • Coordinate internally (product, engineering, delivery) to ensure bankable and executable solutions.
  • Track market dynamics, competitor moves, and policy changes to support deal-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability in greenfield market development and deal closing
  • Solid understanding of Australia C&I energy storage / renewable market.
  • Strong network with EPCs, developers, or end customers is a plus.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, able to work independently in a lean setup.
  • Fluent English for direct customer engagement.
  • Proven ability in greenfield market development and deal closing (hunter profile).
  • Solid understanding of Australia C&I energy storage / renewable market.
  • Strong network with EPCs, developers, or end customers is a plus.
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, able to work independently in a lean setup.
  • Fluent English for direct customer engagement.
