Divisional Controller

We are looking for a high-impact Divisional Controller to lead the financial infrastructure and operational accounting strategy for a newly established business division. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing and leading all the accounting functions for a newly created division. This individual will play a critical role in designing the organizational roadmap, implementing best practices, driving financial transparency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
• Establish internal controls, policies, and procedures aligned with public company standards and SOX compliance requirements
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for the division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors and corporate finance leadership
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team as the division grows
• Act as a strategic business partner while remaining deeply engaged in operational execution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public company experience is ideal including understanding of SOX and SEC reporting environments
