System Engineer

We’re currently supporting a client in Metro Detroit that is looking to add a hands-on Systems Engineer to their infrastructure team. This is a highly technical, production-focused environment where the individual will take ownership of core systems including Hyper-V, Windows Server, Storage Spaces Direct (S2D), Palo Alto firewalls, and enterprise infrastructure support.

Key experience includes:

• Hyper-V administration in production environments

• Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP

• Clustering, high availability, and infrastructure resiliency

• Palo Alto firewall support

• Troubleshooting across servers, storage, virtualization, and networking

• PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation

• Experience with SQL Server, IIS, S2D, or infrastructure migrations is a plus

This is a 100% onsite opportunity requiring someone comfortable operating independently within a fast-paced, high-responsibility IT environment.
