Summary
Supervises the activities of Supply Chain Departments (Distribution Dept, Receiving and Inventory Control) to ensure timely and accurate processing of receipts of supplies, delivery of supplies and equipment, and accurate keying into Lawson system resulting expenses for the using departments. Plans, organizes, and identifies supplies for warehousing to best serve customers. Evaluates operation efficiencies to affect savings. Initiates and promotes cost reduction plans.
Formal Education Required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Allied Health, or related field of study preferred, or the equivalent in training and experience
- Three (3) years related supply distribution, receiving or central processing experience to include two (2) years directing work activities of others with demonstrated leadership skills
- Three (3) years inventory management experience including inventory software experience
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment by accepting and offering honest and constructive feedback, supporting team goals and encouraging fellow team members
- Skills to use a computer based inventory system and Microsoft Office Suite
- Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects
$23.22/hr - $34.83/hr
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
