Infrastructure Engineer

Denny’s is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to own and operate the data center and cloud infrastructure that supports our business. This is a hands-on role for an experienced systems professional who takes pride in a well-run environment and wants work that is visible, impactful, and meaningful to the company's long-term direction.

What you will do

• Administer Nutanix HCI, Windows Server, Linux, Storage and supporting infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
• Own enterprise identity (Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, conditional access) and Windows DHCP and DNS services.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates, certificate authority operations, and SSH key lifecycle with supporting automation.
• Rubrik backup operations, business continuity monitoring, and disaster recovery testing.
• Installation of new hardware, software and services while also maintaining and supporting existing IT infrastructure equipment and processes.
• Contribute to design, planning, validation, and implementation of infrastructure changes across on-premises and cloud.
• Develop and maintain automation in PowerShell, Shell scripting (bash), and Python.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalation support and after-hours response.

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on data center or systems engineering experience.
• Production Nutanix administration (AOS, AHV, Prism Central).
• Strong Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server skills.
• Proficient Linux administration including server control, file system management, NFS, and package management.
• Hands-on Rubrik experience across configuration, job and SLA policy management, backup execution, and recovery execution.
• Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management, certificate authority operations, and SSH key management.
• Demonstrated PowerShell, Shell, and Python scripting.
• Comfort with after-hours response.
