Vice President Finance

We're seeking a Controller / VP of Finance to serve as the senior hands-on finance leader for two established brands within a nationally recognized parent organization. This is a high-visibility role that blends daily operational accounting with executive-level financial communication — ideal for someone who thrives in the details and the boardroom.

What You'll Do

• Own the close — Execute a fast-paced 2.5-day month-end close with zero post-close adjustments across multiple entities
• Get hands-on — Manage journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules (P&L, balance sheet, trial balance)
• Be the voice of finance — Prepare performance narratives and represent the business in recurring financial review meetings with senior corporate leadership
• Manage cash flow — Maintain an 8-week rolling cash forecast, perform weekly cash analysis, and oversee payable runs including international wires
• Drive reporting infrastructure — Serve as a NetSuite (Oracle) power user, standardizing reports and building scalable, transferable processes
• Lead a team — Partner with and guide a lean, experienced accounting team with a collaborative, open-door leadership style

What You Bring

• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
• Proven hands-on Controller-level experience in a fast-paced, transactional environment
• Strong NetSuite ERP experience (required)
• Background in inventory-heavy businesses — wholesale, retail, e-commerce, or consumer products preferred
• Ability to operate under tight close timelines with zero tolerance for errors
• Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to defend financial results in high-accountability settings
