Pre-Sales Manager (Utility & C&I, PV/BESS)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre-sales support for PV and BESS projects (Utility & C&I)
- Develop technical proposals, system solutions, and quotations
- Support grid connection and MV station design (incl. compliance with German standards)
- Conduct plant layout design, feasibility studies, and yield analysis
- Act as technical interface with EPCs, developers, and utility clients
- Collaborate with HQ teams (R&D, supply chain, engineering)
- Support project handover to execution team, including risk assessment and documentation
Requirements
- Solid experience in solar PV and/or energy storage (BESS) pre-sales or engineering
- Strong understanding of:
- PV system design (inverters, string design, yield)
- BESS architecture (BMS, PCS, EMS)
- Familiar with German grid codes and standards (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110/4120)
- Knowledge of MV systems (switchgear, transformers, protection) is a plus
- Experience working with EPCs, developers, or utility clients
- Strong communication skills in a technical environment
- Fluent in English and German
We are looking for:
• Bachelor degree or above, major in electric power/electronics/electrical/automation;
• More than 5 years experience in photovoltaic industry
• Fluent in English and German
• Familiar with photovoltaic products, familiar with product principles and solutions
• Able to independently complete business research, market analysis, and organize project implementation;
• Customer-oriented, with excellent communication skills
