Main responsibilities:

• Design the database and application
• Write programe code
• Work with big amount of data
• Data extract from big data repositories according to business and technical specifications
• Test software applications
• Produce detailed specifications
• Document, maintain and support software functionality
• Able to understand complex software architecture
• Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related
• Knowledge in data structure and algorithms
• Experience in software development (at least 5 years)
• Knowledge in MS Access (2010 and above), Visual Basic in MS Access, MS SQL, database, and related Microsoft applications and technologies
• Basic knowledge in HTML 5, Javascript and CSS 3; XML, Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Web services will be an advantage
• Analytical thinking, enthusiasm and willing to be expert in the field of software engineering
• Team player with good communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in the team
• Fluent English
• Previous experience in insurance industry would be a plus
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the Agile development framework
