Accountant

For our Finance Division at Sofia Airport we are looking to appoint:

Accountant

The role:

Accountant participates in every aspect of the operational accounting process; prepares day-to-day accounting entries based on primary financial and accounting documents; maintains systematic accounting records to summarize accounting information; reconciles and follows up the Company’s sales, purchases, and client/vendor payments; participates in the monthly and annual financial closing process, including by preparing provisions and accruals for revenues and expenses; contributes to business requirements and implementation of new functionalities and features of the ERP system (Dynamics 365 F&O), prepares various accounting statements and breakdowns as requested by management, auditors, tax authorities, etc.; participates in the preparation of the annual financial statements of the Company; participates in training programs organized by the Company; performs other accounting tasks as instructed by supervisors and managers.

Your profile:

• Higher education in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor, Master)
• 2+ years of proven experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and a background in the use of ERP systems will be considered an advantage
• Good in English
• Ability to work autonomously with high attention to details
• Positive attitude, collaboration, initiative, and analysis skills
