The Opportunity
Our client is a well-established private investment office with a significant capital base and a multi-asset portfolio spanning both long-term and more dynamic investment strategies.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an Investment Operations Analyst to take ownership of the firm’s investment operations and reporting across the portfolio.
This is a high-ownership, hands-on role with responsibility for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and reliability of investment data and reporting, as well as managing day-to-day operational workflows across the platform.
You will work closely with the investment team and external service providers, gaining broad exposure across a sophisticated private investment environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage portfolio reporting across all investments, ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent and delivered on time
- Oversee and reconcile data across custodians, brokers, external managers and internal systems
- Manage day-to-day operational workflows across the investment platform
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational matters with external service providers (administrators, custodians, managers, banks)
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in investment data, reporting and operational processes
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all systems and reporting outputs
- Drive improvements in reporting, data management and operational workflows over time
- Support the investment team with timely, reliable data and reporting
About You
You will likely have 1–4 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Investment operations/middle office
- Fund administration
- Asset management operations
- Custody/registry/platform operations
You will demonstrate:
- Hands-on experience running reporting, reconciliations and operational processes
- Strong ownership mindset – ability to manage processes end-to-end
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability
- Comfort working across multiple systems and data sources
- An interest in improving processes and reducing manual workflows
Candidates should be capable of taking ownership of reporting and operational processes as they build into the role.
