Location: Germany
Salary: €120,000 – €130,000 per year (plus allowances if applicable)
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to lead the development of major retail accounts in Europe, focusing on Germany, France, and the UK. This role will be responsible for building and managing relationships with leading DIY, home improvement, and consumer electronics retailers, driving channel expansion from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategy for acquiring and managing key accounts in the European DIY, CE, and outdoor retail market.
- Independently manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, negotiations, and onboarding of new retail partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to launch new products, organize promotions, and enhance channel sales and brand visibility.
- Build strong relationships with core distributors and retail chains, ensuring long-term business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in key account development for German or French retail chains (DIY, CE, or outdoor sectors).
- Proven track record of successful partnerships with major European retail chains (e.g., Bauhaus, Hornbach, OBI, Toom).
- Experience in lighting, outdoor products, power tools, or consumer electronics is a plus.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German or French is highly advantageous.
- Strong independent negotiation and business development skills; capable of building processes and executing strategies from scratch.
