Project Engineer
Position Overview
The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing engineering and construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with various teams, overseeing technical documentation, and implementing process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
Primary responsibility to support the project manager in areas such as:
- Coordinate and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering designs, project plans, and reports.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) to create detailed design drawings and models.
- Identify and resolve engineering and design problems through effective problem-solving techniques.
- Implement quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to ensure project success.
- Conduct risk management assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
- Assist in project scheduling and budgeting, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary to meet project goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- OR Proven experience as a Project Engineer / APM in the construction industry
- Construction related co-ops or internships a strong plus
