Job Description:
As a key leader in our Sales Department, the Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and sales of our suite of payment products and services across all our businesses, brands, and companies. You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, developing strategies to expand our client base, and ensuring consistent achievement and growth beyond revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to consistently achieve KPIs and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth across all brands and product lines.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement and competitive positioning.
- Drive lead generation and prospecting through multiple channels, ensuring a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.
- Prepare and optimize sales strategies for prospecting, conversion, and partnership development.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s footprint in both local and international markets.
- Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth across all businesses.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives, positioning our software and payment products as tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling prospect proposals, partnership proposals, and business cases.
- Develop a deep understanding of our suite of products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Provide product expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including product demonstrations, presentations, and consultations.
- Develop and maintain sales collateral such as presentations, case studies, and product documentation.
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and external clients to ensure comprehensive understanding of product value propositions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the payments industry with 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Skilled in analyzing data and converting insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in the payments or financial technology industry is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing product expertise and support throughout the sales cycle.
